MSC extends piracy and Suez surcharges across Mediterranean

MSC will extend its Piracy Risk Surcharge and Suez Canal Surcharge to all remaining Mediterranean and Black Sea ports. The wider scope covers the West Mediterranean, East Mediterranean, Adriatic, North Africa and Black Sea regions. It applies to cargo moving from Asia. MSC previously introduced the surcharges for selected East Mediterranean and Black Sea ports in September. The carrier later expanded their coverage to additional destinations across the Mediterranean and North Africa.
