Maersk announces Poland inland transportation rate adjustment

Maersk will adjust its inland transportation tariffs in Poland from 1 October 2026, citing rising operational, regulatory and infrastructure costs. The revised rates will apply to direct trucking and intermodal rail deliveries routed through German ports. They will also cover direct trucking deliveries through the Port of Gdansk. Services covered by the adjustment For cargo routed through German ports, the adjustment will apply to: Direct trucking deliveries Intermodal rail deliveries For cargo routed through the Port of Gdansk, it will apply to: Direct trucking deliveries Maersk will include the updated rates in relevant quotations, tariffs and contractual agreements according to existing commercial terms. The carrier will apply the revised rates using the price calculation date logic associated with ocean bookings.
