Hapag-Lloyd introduces LOI requirement for selected Morocco imports

Hapag-Lloyd has introduced a new documentation requirement for selected commodities imported into Morocco, effective 23 September 2026. Bookings containing the affected goods must include a signed Letter of Indemnity before the carrier issues booking confirmation. Hapag-Lloyd may place bookings on hold until it receives the required document. Customers must submit the LOI using the carrier’s prescribed format. Booking processing will resume once Hapag-Lloyd receives and validates the document.
