GXO appoints new Chief Information Officer

GXO Logistics has announced an expansion of its technology organisation, appointing Balaji Rangaswamy to the newly created role of Chief Information Officer effective immediately. Rangaswamy will report to CEO Patrick Kelleher and lead the Foundation pillar of GXO’s enhanced technology operating model, which is structured around two complementary priorities alongside the existing Acceleration mandate led by Chief Technology Officer Nizar Trigui. As CIO, Rangaswamy will be responsible for enterprise systems, architecture and core technology capabilities that enable scale, encompassing information strategy, information risk, data governance, cybersecurity, digital resilience and service management. Trigui’s Acceleration mandate focuses on expanding GXO IQ, Agentic AI, Physical AI, robotics and other emerging technologies with the potential to transform supply chain operations. Rangaswamy brings three decades of enterprise technology experience, with expertise in ERP consolidation, supply chain and finance process harmonisation, operational resilience, analytics and mergers and acquisitions systems integration.
