Butts County authorities intercepted approximately 1,800 pounds of marijuana Tuesday morning, Sheriff Gary Long announced. Long posted a public statement at 12:13 p. m. Tuesday. The shipment originated in Sacramento, California.

Maersk expands Diamond cargo insurance package worldwide

Maersk will make its Cargo Insurance Diamond package available to customers worldwide from 21 September 2026. The Cargo Insurance – Reefer – Diamond package will apply to shipments moving worldwide, excluding Saudi Arabia. Maersk has set the tariff at US$2,800. Price Calculation Date rules For non-SPOT bookings, Maersk will retrieve the rate according to the applicable Price Calculation Date. For non-FMC shipments, the Price Calculation Date is the scheduled departure date of the first water leg at the time of booking confirmation.
