CU Lines orders two 14,000 TEU container ships

China United Lines (CU Lines) has placed an order for two 14,000 TEU container ships at Hudong-Zhonghua Shipbuilding. The newbuildings are scheduled for delivery during 2028 and 2029. The vessels will become the largest ships ever operated by CU Lines. The carrier’s biggest owned vessels currently have a capacity of 6,400 TEU. It also operates one chartered container ship of 10,100 TEU.
