Maersk opens new container depot in Cameroon

Maersk has opened a new container depot in Kribi, Cameroon, as part of its continued investment in Africa’s logistics infrastructure. The 16,000-square-metre facility has a capacity of 1,500 TEU. It will support cargo flows through the deep-water Port of Kribi, which serves Cameroon and neighbouring landlocked markets. The depot provides specialised cargo handling, container storage, customs inspection and clearance services.
