AAR launches freight rail research consortium

The Association of American Railroads has launched the Freight Rail Research Consortium, a strategic network of academic partnerships aimed at bolstering the industry’s long-term analytical and research capabilities. The AAR-led consortium will leverage data-driven insights and policy analysis to strengthen the future of the North American freight rail industry. Consortium members are the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, the University of California, Berkeley, and Rutgers University.
