YILPORT Gebze boosts RTG productivity by 21%

YILPORT Holding has increased yard productivity at its Gebze Terminal in Türkiye by 21% following the deployment of Kaleris’ RTG Optimization technology. The improvement was recorded within three months and reflects an increase in moves per hour across the terminal’s fleet of 31 rubber-tired gantry (RTG) cranes. Gebze improves performance without adding cranes Before the deployment, YILPORT was looking to improve the performance of its existing RTG fleet without investing in additional equipment. The Kaleris system analyzes demand across vessel, truck and yard operations in real time. It then recommends how RTGs should be deployed, helping operators balance workloads and reduce unnecessary crane movements and idle time.
