X-Press Feeders launches Pakistan–Fujairah service

X-Press Feeders has announced the launch of its new Pipavav/Pakistan–Fujairah X-Press (PFX) service. According to DynaLiners, the inaugural sailing originated at Pipavav in India. However, subsequent published sailings indicate that the service will operate as a shuttle between Port Qasim in Pakistan and Fujairah in the United Arab Emirates. The PFX service deploys a single container ship with a capacity of approximately 1,700 TEU. Sailings will operate on an approximately three-week rolling schedule.

Switzerland says patient is wife of Swiss diplomat and believed to have contracted virus while travelling in Uganda An Ebola patient in Nigeria is a Swiss woman who has not travelled to the epicentre of the current outbreak in Democratic Republic of the Congo and is believed to have contracted the virus while travelling with her husband in Uganda, the Swiss foreign ministry has said. The new information contradicts accounts from Uganda, which previously said the woman had travelled to eastern DR Congo, and will raise concerns about the ability of authorities to contain the outbreak, which is already the most geographically widespread in history.
