World Maritime Forum puts fleet decisions under one roof in Copenhagen

The two-day maritime conference will take place at Copenhagen’s AC Bella Sky Convention Center on 23-24 February 2027. World Maritime Forum 2027 will return to Copenhagen for two days at the AC Bella Sky Convention Center. Organised by IGGS Group, the gathering is designed for shipowners, ship managers, shipbuilders, ports, authorities, maritime industry suppliers and service providers. Its timing reflects decisions already pressing across shipping: fleet investment, operational continuity, workforce capability and the move from digital trials to practical implementation. The event projects 800 attendees, 70 speakers and 50 exhibitors, with 300+ buyers expected among the audience.

Maersk expands Diamond cargo insurance package worldwide

Maersk will make its Cargo Insurance Diamond package available to customers worldwide from 21 September 2026. The Cargo Insurance – Reefer – Diamond package will apply to shipments moving worldwide, excluding Saudi Arabia. Maersk has set the tariff at US$2,800. Price Calculation Date rules For non-SPOT bookings, Maersk will retrieve the rate according to the applicable Price Calculation Date. For non-FMC shipments, the Price Calculation Date is the scheduled departure date of the first water leg at the time of booking confirmation.
