Maersk raises pick-up charges in Madagascar

Maersk will revise its Pick-Up Charge (PIC) at Antananarivo and Toamasina in Madagascar from 1 November 2026. The updated tariffs will apply until further notice. Location Container size Previous rate New rate Antananarivo All 20-foot containers €80 €90 Antananarivo All 40-foot containers €120 €125 Toamasina All 20-foot containers €15 €30 Toamasina All 40-foot containers €15 €30 The largest increase will apply at Toamasina, where the charge will double to €30 for both 20-foot and 40-foot containers. Maersk said the revision is intended to align the tariffs with the costs of providing its service solutions at the two locations.
