ABP invites public consultation on onshore wind turbine at port of Ipswich

Associated British Ports is inviting the public to attend consultation events on plans to install a single onshore wind turbine at the Port of Ipswich. The proposed turbine would generate renewable electricity for port operations, reduce energy costs and support the decarbonisation of port activities, contributing to ABP’s broader sustainability ambitions while supporting the long-term competitiveness and growth of the port. Two public consultation events will be held, at which members of the public can view the proposed plans, learn more about the project and speak directly with the project team. Feedback received during the consultation will inform the ongoing development of proposals before any planning application is submitted.
