Maersk keeps Mexico inland fuel surcharge at 2% in September

Maersk will maintain its temporary inland fuel surcharge in Mexico at 2% of inland haulage costs during September 2026. The surcharge remains unchanged from August and applies to all inland services and transport modes for imports and exports to and from Mexico. Maersk linked the measure to the situation in the Middle East and the resulting increase in fuel-related costs. Surcharge reviewed monthly The carrier will continue to review the surcharge on a monthly basis. Maersk said further adjustments may be necessary as conditions evolve.
