Waitlists for scans, colonoscopies and heart tests drop sharply
Waitlists for scans, colonoscopies and heart tests have fallen sharply over the past year. Health New Zealand exceeded the Government’s delivery target for additional procedures aimed at addressing long wait lists, Health Minister Simeon Brown said in a Beehive release. The extra procedures were delivered to reduce backlog and cut waiting times for diagnostic tests and specialist investigations.
