Valenciaport rail traffic grows despite lower July volumes

Valenciaport rail traffic continued to grow during the first seven months of 2026, despite a year-on-year decline in overall container throughput in July. The Spanish port handled 459,517 TEUs in July, down 9. 84% from 509,685 TEUs in the same month of 2025. Between January and July, Valenciaport handled 3,279,119 containers, representing a decline of 1. 34%.
