Dachser acquires Scottish logistics partner Drummond Distribution

Dachser has agreed to acquire Scottish logistics company Drummond Distribution, expanding its network with five locations between Glasgow and Edinburgh. The companies have not disclosed the purchase price. Drummond generated approximately £20 million in revenue in 2025 and employs around 175 people. Dachser expands logistics network into Scotland Drummond operates five locations across Scotland’s Central Belt. The acquisition gives Dachser a direct presence in the region, where it currently has no locations.

Norway grants NOK 208 million to 11 port projects

Norway has awarded NOK 208 million (US$22 million) to 11 port projects across the country. The investments aim to improve cargo flows, increase port capacity and strengthen connections between sea and land transport. The funding comes through Norway’s programme for efficient and environmentally friendly ports. The Norwegian Coastal Administration (Kystverket) manages the programme. Overall, the 11 projects represent investments of around NOK 492 million.
