Turkish yard wins race for Croatia’s Uljanik

Croatia has selected Turkey’s Kuzey Star Shipyard to take control of Uljanik Brodogradnja 1856, moving the historic Pula shipbuilding operation closer to private ownership after years of state-backed restructuring. The Croatian Centre for Restructuring and Sale, CERP, has accepted Kuzey Star’s binding offer of EUR12. 05m ($13. 8m) for four stakes representing around 97. 13% of the yard.
