Tesla targets end-2027 Europe deliveries for the Semi

HANNOVER, Germany — Tesla will begin European demonstrations of the Semi in the first half of 2027 and is targeting customer deliveries by the end of that year, said Dan Priestley, head of Semi at Tesla, in a keynote at IAA Transportation 2026. The first European trucks will be built at the company’s plant outside Reno, Nevada. Priestley laid out the timeline when asked whether Tesla’s European order book was open. “What we’re working on right now is lining up customers that are highly interested in experiencing the truck through demonstrations in the first half of next year, with the opportunity then to take delivery, targeting by the end of next year,” he said.
