Svitzer orders six more TRAnsverse tugs from Cheoy Lee Shiyards

Svitzer has ordered six additional 29-metre TRAnsverse tugs from Cheoy Lee Shipyards. The new contract takes the number of TRAnsverse 2900 tugs ordered from Cheoy Lee to 14 . The agreement comes as the first of eight previously ordered vessels nears sea trials in Zhuhai, China. Deliveries to begin in 2028 The six new tugs will offer 80 tonnes of bollard pull . They will be biofuel-ready and prepared to meet IMO Tier III requirements.
