Rhenus moves 4,000 tonnes of wind turbine components via Port of Ploče

Rhenus has completed a major project cargo operation supporting the construction of the 48 MW VP Baljci wind farm in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The logistics company transported approximately 4,000 tonnes of wind turbine components through the Port of Ploče in Croatia. 147 oversized vehicles deployed The operation was carried out between November 2025 and January 2026 for renewable energy developer TomKup. Rhenus coordinated port handling, freight forwarding and specialised inland transportation. A total of 147 vehicles designed for oversized and exceptional cargo were used to move the components.
