Rhenus Delivery Services expands electric vehicle fleet in Poland

Rhenus Delivery Services has expanded its electric vehicle fleet in Poland with the addition of nine new electric delivery vans with a gross vehicle weight of 4. 25 tonnes, bringing its total electric fleet to 33 vehicles. The expansion supports a project for a key customer in the Special Delivery segment aimed at basing distribution operations exclusively on electric transport. The electric fleet is primarily deployed for last-mile deliveries to CO2-restricted zones within Poland’s largest metropolitan areas, enabling efficient city centre deliveries while supporting compliance with urban access requirements and reducing the environmental impact of transportation. The operation combines Rhenus’s own electric vehicles with those managed in cooperation with the client and selected transport partners.
