Renovation and consolidation the Pola and Tripoli quays at Vibo Marina port

The renovation and consolidation works for the Pola and Tripoli quays at the Port of Vibo Marina have been handed over to the contractor Franco Giuseppe Srl. The project is financed with EUR 6. 5 million from the Fund for Development and Cohesion, channelled through the Calabria Region’s Development and Cohesion Plan. At the same time, Port Authority President Paolo Piacenza signed the ordinance for clearing the affected areas, completing the procedures needed to make the spaces available so that the construction site can actually begin. The 18-month project aims to restore both quays to full operational capacity and improve safety for navigation and port operations.
