FedEx secures over 20 million gallons of SAF across US air network

FedEx has signed new sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) agreements covering more than 20 million gallons of neat SAF across its US air network. The fuel will be supplied through 2027 at five major airports: Newark, Oakland, Miami, New York JFK and Dallas Fort Worth. Depending on the location, FedEx expects SAF blend ratios of between 30% and 50%. FedEx expands SAF use at five airports The latest agreements mark a significant expansion of FedEx’s SAF programme in the United States. The company began securing around 5 million gallons of neat SAF in 2025, which supported the deployment of 16.
