Port of Los Angeles extends Yusen Terminals lease through 2056

The Los Angeles Board of Harbor Commissioners has approved a new 30-year lease with Yusen Terminals at the Port of Los Angeles. The agreement will keep the marine terminal operator at the port through 2056. It will also support an additional US$200 million investment in zero-emission cargo-handling equipment. Yusen Terminals to invest US$200 million Under the approved lease, Yusen Terminals will invest an additional US$200 million in zero-emission equipment during the coming years. The terminal already operates several types of zero-emission and hydrogen fuel-cell equipment.
