Piraeus Container Terminal secures Certified Receiver Licence

Piraeus Container Terminal (PCT) has obtained a Certified Receiver Licence from the Greek Customs Authority , according to COSCO SHIPPING Europe. The authorisation allows PCT to handle rail transit cargo arrivals directly at its authorised premises . Licence aims to streamline customs procedures COSCO SHIPPING Europe said the new authorisation will help simplify customs procedures for cargo arriving by rail. It is also expected to improve operational efficiency and enhance services for customers and logistics partners. The development strengthens the integration of rail operations with PCT’s container terminal activities at the Port of Piraeus .
