Lloyd’s Register (LR) is providing classification and technical assurance for the conversion of an LNG carrier into a floating storage unit (FSU) for an offshore gas project in Gabon. The former LNG carrier LNG Bayelsa is being converted at Drydocks World Dubai. The vessel is currently named FSU LNG Cap Lopez . Once completed, it will provide LNG storage for the Cap Lopez project in Gabon.
