OOCL launches new Asia-East Africa Service 8

OOCL will launch its new Asia-East Africa Service 8, providing direct connections between India and East Africa. The EAX8 service will connect the key Indian gateways of Nhava Sheva and Mundra with Mombasa in Kenya and Dar es Salaam in Tanzania. EAX8 adopts butterfly network structure The new service will use a butterfly network structure with two loops operating simultaneously. EAX8 will provide weekly coverage of both Mombasa and Dar es Salaam while improving schedule reliability and operational flexibility. Mombasa Loop The Mombasa Loop will commence from Nhava Sheva on 22 September 2026.
