BNSF and Spearpoint partner at Barstow International Gateway

BNSF Railway and Spearpoint Logistics have announced a strategic partnership at the Barstow International Gateway in Southern California. Under the agreement, Spearpoint will establish operations at the inland intermodal development and provide warehousing and transportation services. The partnership will support international freight moving from Asia and Mexico through Southern California to destinations across the United States. Spearpoint to add integrated logistics services Spearpoint specialises in heavyweight cargo and will provide customers with access to: Warehousing Heavyweight cross-docking Distribution Transportation Freight brokerage BNSF is developing the Barstow International Gateway as an integrated inland logistics hub connected to its North American rail network. The facility is designed to move international freight from Southern California gateways to inland destinations more efficiently while reducing pressure on regional highways.
