ONE announces new dangerous goods charges for Singapore transshipments

Ocean Network Express (ONE) has announced changes to dangerous goods (DG) handling charges for containers transshipping through Singapore. The changes follow revised PSA Group classifications for several UN Numbers, with a particular focus on battery and battery-related dangerous goods . According to ONE, the revised classifications may affect cargo handling, segregation and other requirements at the port. Battery cargo moves to PSA Group 2 Selected battery-related dangerous goods will be reclassified from PSA Group 3 to PSA Group 2 . The affected UN Numbers are: UN3090, UN3091, UN3171, UN3480, UN3481, UN3536, UN3551, UN3552, UN3556, UN3557 and UN3558.
