New Jersey CDL school lawsuit questions evidence behind FMCSA shutdown

Start CDL Inc. is challenging its emergency removal from the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration’s training registry . The Cinnaminson, New Jersey-based truck driving school said the FMCSA improperly used drivers’ later English-proficiency violations to justify shutting down its federally regulated training operations, according to a complaint filed Oct. 2. But the 236-page complaint and exhibit packet presents questions beyond that legal dispute: A six-driver spreadsheet names another training provider, the attached roadside reports concern 10 different drivers, and a scanned removal notice makes substantive findings against a third school.
