Maersk updates fuel surcharge in Cyprus

Maersk has announced an updated fuel surcharge for truck transportation in Cyprus amid rising fuel costs linked to the situation in the Middle East. The new rate will take effect on 24 August 2026. Maersk described the surcharge as an exceptional measure that will apply during the coming weeks. Cyprus fuel surcharge The following surcharge will apply: Truck transportation: 10% Maersk will display the surcharge on invoices under the EFS and IFS codes. EFS refers to the Export Fuel Surcharge, while IFS represents the Import Fuel Surcharge.
