Maersk suspends Durban Cato Ridge drop-off fee

Maersk has temporarily suspended its Durban Cato Ridge Drop-Off Fee amid congestion and supply chain disruptions across the local depot network. The suspension took effect on 11 September 2026 and will remain in place until further notice. Drop-off rates reduced to zero Maersk said increased depot utilisation and reduced storage capacity prompted the decision. The temporary measure aims to provide greater operational flexibility under the current conditions.
