Maersk removes LCL peak season surcharge from Asia to Europe
Maersk will stop applying its Less-than-Container Load Peak Season Surcharge on shipments from Far East Asia to North Europe and the Mediterranean. The change applies from the Price Calculation Date of 17 September 2026 and covers the carrier’s E1W and E2W trade corridors. Geographical scope The removal applies to LCL cargo originating from: Brunei China Hong Kong Indonesia Japan Cambodia Mongolia South Korea Laos Myanmar Malaysia Philippines Singapore Taiwan Thailand Vietnam The surcharge will no longer apply to eligible shipments from these markets to North European and Mediterranean destinations.
