Maersk lowers heavy load threshold for Germany and Poland

Maersk will revise the trigger weight for its Heavy Load Surcharge (HWS) on shipments from Far East Asia to Germany and Poland. From a Price Calculation Date of 19 October 2026, the US$400 surcharge will apply to all types of 20-foot equipment with a Verified Gross Mass exceeding 25 metric tonnes.
