Maersk ends Walvis Bay export coverage to Europe and North America

Maersk will stop accepting export cargo from Walvis Bay to Europe and North America as it adjusts capacity across its West Africa network. Week 42 will mark the end of cargo acceptance for these trades. Helene , voyage 642N, will operate the final W13 sailing from Walvis Bay with coverage to Europe and North America. Maersk said the decision followed a review of its service structure, vessel deployment and available network capacity. The carrier aims to improve schedule reliability and operational stability across the wider region.

Brazilians vote in presidential election runoff pitting leftist Lula against far-right Bolsonaro
