Kuehne+Nagel opens new technology centre in India

Kuehne+Nagel has opened a new Tech Centre in Chennai, India, expanding its global engineering capabilities and supporting the development of its proprietary digital logistics platforms. The new centre will focus on developing and scaling technology used across the logistics group’s global operations, including solutions for managing sea and air freight shipments. By early 2027, Kuehne+Nagel expects around 250 technology experts to work at the Chennai facility. The company is working with Accenture to support the build-up of the workforce and accelerate the centre’s development. Centre to support global freight platform One of the key products supported by the Chennai team will be SALOG, Kuehne+Nagel’s core digital forwarding platform for managing sea and air freight shipments worldwide.
