Samsara targets $2B in recoverable fleet fuel spend

Fleets do not set the price of diesel, but they have spent much of 2026 absorbing it. As a result, Samsara went after the part of the bill a fleet does control. The Fuel Command Center, which the company launched Aug. 19, consolidates total and recoverable fuel spend in one view and splits the recoverable share into root causes. It then recommends the highest-impact action for each.
