MacGregor reports rising demand for electric cranes

MacGregor recorded strong demand for electric cranes during the first half of 2026. Electric models represented more than 80% of the company’s total crane order intake during the period. Heavy-lift and multipurpose vessels accounted for most orders. Container ships also generated a significant share of demand. MacGregor said this segment has experienced renewed activity compared with previous years.
