Greek companies partner on autonomous surface vessel

Skaramangas Shipyards, Qualco Group and Olympic Marine have signed a memorandum of understanding to develop a Greek-designed and built unmanned autonomous surface vessel. The agreement covers the design, development, production and demonstration of a multi-role vessel. The project targets both the Greek and international markets. The partners aim to design, program and manufacture the autonomous surface vessel entirely in Greece. Greek shipbuilding, AI and composite expertise The project combines the shipbuilding capabilities of Skaramangas Shipyards with Qualco Group’s software and artificial intelligence expertise.
