GEODIS deploys electric truck for container haulage at Port Botany

GEODIS is expanding its electric vehicle operations in Australia with the addition of a Volvo FM Electric Prime Mover. The new truck will support container transportation between Sydney’s Port Botany and Volvo’s local warehouse. The vehicle marks GEODIS’ entry into electric-powered container haulage in Australia. It also becomes the third electric truck in the company’s Australian fleet. The Volvo FM Electric will primarily transport full container loads carrying Volvo cargo from Port Botany to the manufacturer’s warehouse.
