RCL announces Low Sulphur Go Green Recovery for September 2026

Regional Container Lines (RCL) has announced its Low Sulphur Go Green Recovery (LGGR) for September 2026. The LGGR is used by the carrier to recover the additional cost of using low-sulphur marine fuel. LGGR linked to IMO sulphur rules The mechanism relates to the International Maritime Organization’s sulphur regulations, which took effect on 1 January 2020 . The rules reduced the sulphur limit for marine fuel oil from 3. 5% to 0.
