Emarat Maritime exercises feeder ship options

Emarat Maritime has exercised options for three additional 930 TEU container ships at China’s Guangji Xinneng Shipbuilding. According to DynaLiners, the latest move increases the company’s firm orderbook at the Chinese shipyard to six vessels. Emarat Maritime initially ordered three ships at the yard earlier this year, with options covering three additional units. The latest decision confirms all vessels included in the original agreement. Four of the six feeder container ships are scheduled for delivery during 2028.
