Dijvler enters seagoing vessel market with Damen and Briese orders

Dutch winch manufacturer Dijvler is expanding into the seagoing vessel market with a new range of anchor and mooring winches, having already secured orders from Damen Cargo Vessels and Briese Schiffahrt. The move follows Dijvler’s acquisition of C-Nautical’s designs, drawings, certifications and related rights. The company has spent the past two years reviewing and standardizing the designs to create a new product range for cargo vessels and offshore support vessels, with the first deliveries expected in 2027. New winch range targets seagoing vessels Dijvler has supplied more than 2,000 winches to the inland waterway and short-sea sectors since its establishment in 1977. The new programme extends that experience into the wider seagoing market.
