Commodity trader takes Pelagic handysize for up to 11 months

Cyprus-based shipowner and fund manager Pelagic Partners has fixed its handysize bulker UBC Houston to an unnamed major commodity trader for up to 11 months. The 2015-built, 39,000 dwt vessel has secured a nine-to-11-month time charter at $17,250 per day, Pelagic said. The company did not identify the charterer.
