CMA CGM updates surcharges on West Africa and South America trades

CMA CGM has announced updates to its Peak Season Surcharge from China to West Africa and its Low Water Surcharge from the west coast of South America. The two surcharge updates carry different effective dates and apply to separate trade routes. PSS from China to West Africa CMA CGM will introduce a Peak Season Surcharge of US$300 per TEU from China and its Special Administrative Regions to West Africa. The PSS will apply from 8 September 2026, based on the cargo loading date. The surcharge applies to all cargo under short-term contracts.
