CMA CGM announces RRI02 from the USA

CMA CGM has announced a new Rate Restoration Initiative, known as RRI02, on several trades from the United States. The new charges will apply in addition to the carrier’s previous Rate Restoration Initiative. RRI02 will cover all cargo except special equipment and out-of-gauge shipments. RRI02 effective from 27 August From 27 August 2026, CMA CGM will apply the following charges: Origin Destination 20-foot container 40-foot and 45-foot containers US East Coast Libya US$50 US$100 US Gulf North Europe, Mediterranean, North Africa and Portugal US$50 US$100 US East Coast, excluding Miami Indian Subcontinent and Bangladesh US$75 US$150 US Gulf, US West Coast and Miami Indian Subcontinent and Bangladesh US$150 US$300 All US coasts Middle East Gulf and Red Sea US$300 US$600 Additional RRI02 from September From 15 September 2026, CMA CGM will introduce an additional RRI02 from the US East Coast to North Europe. The carrier will charge US$50 per 20-foot container and US$100 per 40-foot or 45-foot container.
