CMA CGM announces new surcharges and Kenya cargo requirements

CMA CGM has announced several updates affecting cargo to the Maldives, Kenya and Latin America. The changes include new surcharges and documentation requirements. Maldives surcharge rises to US$450 per TEU CMA CGM will introduce a Peak Season Surcharge (PSS) on cargo from the Far East to the Maldives . The surcharge will initially be US$150 per TEU from 12 September 2026. It will then increase to US$450 per TEU from 15 September .
