CMA CGM adds NEOLINE wind-powered transatlantic service

CMA CGM has expanded its low-carbon shipping offering through a partnership with NEOLINE and its first wind-powered cargo vessel, Neoliner Origin. The service will provide a direct connection between North Europe and North America. It will accommodate dry, out-of-gauge and refrigerated cargo. CMA CGM said the wind-powered vessel could reduce carbon dioxide emissions from ocean crossings by up to 90% compared with conventional ships. Neoliner Origin port coverage The transatlantic service will connect: Zeebrugge, Belgium Montoir-de-Bretagne, France Baltimore, United States Halifax, Canada Neoliner Origin will make its maiden call at Zeebrugge on 21 September 2026.
