China’s Jiangyin and Nanjing have become the latest Yangtze River ports to demonstrate ocean-going ambitions. Yesterday, Cosco Shipping Specialised Carriers, the Cosco group’s multi-purpose shipping arm, launched a container shipping service from Jiangyin to Mexico’s Manzanillo.
